1. Driver Requirements • The hirer must be 21 years or older and hold a valid driver's licence (Zambian or international) presented at pickup. • A copy of the driver's licence and a national ID or passport is taken at pickup. 2. Bookings, Payments & Deposits • A booking is only confirmed once the deposit (or full payment) is received and acknowledged by the company. • A refundable security deposit is collected at pickup and refunded after the vehicle is returned in the same condition. • Pricing is in Zambian Kwacha (ZMW) unless otherwise stated. 3. Use of the Vehicle • The vehicle must be used only for lawful, private use and not for sub-hire, racing, or off-road driving unless agreed in writing. • Smoking is not permitted inside the vehicle. • Only the named driver(s) on the agreement may operate the vehicle. 4. Fuel Policy • Vehicles are provided with a full tank and must be returned with a full tank. • Refuelling shortfalls are charged at pump rate plus a service fee. 5. Mileage & Out-of-Town Travel • Local hire rate applies within the agreed pickup city. • Out-of-town travel must be declared in advance — different rates apply. 6. Damage, Accidents & Traffic Offences • The hirer is responsible for any damage, loss, traffic fines or impound fees incurred during the hire period. • All accidents must be reported to the police and to the company immediately. • Insurance does not cover damage caused by reckless driving, driving under the influence, or unauthorised drivers. 7. Returns & Late Returns • The vehicle must be returned by the agreed date and time. • Late returns are charged on a pro-rata daily basis. Vehicles unreturned beyond 24 hours of the agreed time may be reported as stolen. 8. Cancellations • Free cancellation is allowed up to 24 hours before the scheduled pickup. • Cancellations within 24 hours may forfeit the deposit at the company's discretion. 9. Liability • The company is not liable for personal items left in the vehicle, nor for any indirect loss arising from vehicle breakdown. • In the event of mechanical failure, the company will arrange a replacement where reasonably possible. 10. Acceptance • Hiring the vehicle constitutes full acceptance of these terms and any additional conditions provided in writing at pickup.
